R.I.O.T. - Radical Impartation Of Truth

 R.I.O.T, ‘Radical Impartation of Truth’ is a TV talk-show that deals with relevant issues in the ever growing media culture of the contemporary generation. RIOT is not just a time of interactive talk and motivation but also an expression and celebration of kingdom   creativity in a non-religious but wholesome platform.

Entertainment is a major and incredibly powerful tool in crafting behavioral patterns, the value system and attitude. RIOT combines the power of music, drama and other forms of creative arts in dealing with cutting-edge issues beyond the four walls of church, beyond the pulpit and the pew, and the pavement, way out there where practical issues of day to day living confronts us.

A few of the topics we’ve dealt with reveals our passion to be relevant and willing to talk about issues that concern this generation, especially the youths. Here are just a few;

Fashion, sex, relationships, can we kiss, how far is too far, should a believer compete in a beauty pageant, will Jesus wear a Rolex, how do I deal with my sex drive, passion, how do I know true love, what is infatuation, is it wrong to have a crush on someone, sleeping over, why can’t we live together if we are in love, how do I choose the love of my life, dating and mating, courtship, romance, Hip-hop, culture, abortion, entertainment, movies, complexes, why can’t my folks understand me, abuse, bitterness and forgiveness; the list goes on and on. Here are a few more issues which we have began to deal with every Sunday evening around 6:30pm in an interactive gathering of youths at the HOUSE OF PRAISE PECKAM

  1. How do I deal with my sex drive? This will include masturbation, pornography etc.

    1. Why can’t I have sex in Courtship?
    2. Don’t have sex before marriage, why not?
  2. Should we kiss before marriage?
  3. Is it okay for a Christian to be involved in a beauty pageant?
  4. Why do we act up in Church? Why are Christian brothers not romantic?
  5. Why do people size you up or treat you according to your prospects or what you have?
  6. What do ladies want in a man?
  7. Can Christian TV be boring at times? How can Christian programs be repackaged to make them more interesting?
  8. Youths:-Why is there discrimination against youths in Churches?
    1. Why don’t Churches give youths a chance to minister but remember them when it comes to chores like serving food in parties?
    2. How come they don’t respect the youths?
    3. What can we do to encourage our youths to go out and minister?
    4. Why do youths conduct themselves in an irresponsible way?
    5. How can we bridge the generation gap between parents and children?

  18. How come Christians encourage mediocrity an averages? Why is the Church filled with only a few stars?
